Whilst Conway House in Kilburn is under development, the service has moved to Seven Sisters Rd. Since the move, the hostel has developed great links with the local football team, Arsenal FC.

Residents have been enjoying regular football matches with the hostel staff on Thursday afternoons in Finsbury Park and their team kit was kindly donated to clients by Arsenal FC.

In conjunction with the City of Westminster College, clients were taken on a tour of the Emirates Stadium. Clients got to see the Players Entrance, their plush Changing Rooms, Press Conference Facilities, and even sit in Arsene Wenger's seat by the pitch!

It was incredible to see how much influence a football team can have on the life a client. For example, clients on the tour included John who has followed the team for over 40 years and Alan who said that "the club was his life" as he grew up in the area.

One client remarked at the big difference in the facilities available to the players from his home team in Italy. He commented that in his hometown "Players eat with their families at home before the game then walk to the football match as there is no car park in the stadium. Everyone walks to the stadium on matchday!"

Another client said "That the players are treated better than royalty!"

The end of the tour was concluded with an interesting trivia fact from Alan who noted that Arsenal FC is the only football team with a station named after it!"
